Hi! My name is Louie Mantia, Jr. I’m an artist and designer with 20 years of experience specializing in drawing icons.
I was born in St. Louis, Missouri. I’ve lived in San Francisco, Greensboro, and Portland. Now, I live in Tokyo.
I currently operate Parakeet, an icon design studio, with my partner Luka Grafera. I also create playing cards for Junior and typefaces for Crown, in addition to writing my blog.
